Awkward things to say within earshot of people who have grandchildren:
“Yeah, I’m 23 today! I can’t believe it. I’m getting so old!”
I forget what a giant nerd I am until I have to interact with non-nerds. And when they see the anime banners and the My Little Pony toys and hear me go on about video games or how awesome my computer security class is, they smile politely and nod their heads like, “Okay…then…” and I feel like a dork ^_^;;
On a brighter note, at least Roomie’s replacement roomie seems like someone she will get along with! Which is good, cuz with me graduating in, like, four days, I was worried she’d get stuck with some random crazy chick. We’re very different in personalities and such, but we get along very well and have roomed together since freshman year. I will miss sharing a room with her!
